DAN BĂRBULESCU

Founding Member, Executive Director

He has 15 years of experience working in non-governmental organizations and 10 years in ecology and environmental protection projects. Before Văcăresti, he was the Executive Director of the organization Save the Danube and Delta. He has a BA in History (University of Bucharest), an MA in Public Policy (Queen Mary, University of London) and is in a PhD program in the Faculty of Biology (University of Bucharest) studying the ecosystem services provided by the Văcăresti Natural Park.

Nicoleta Neacșu

Financial Manager

She has been part of the association's executive team since 2021. She has over 20 years of experience working in financial management. She currently works with several non-governmental organizations helping them to be more transparent and financially efficient.

VLAD CIOFLEC

Biologist

Vlad is a biologist specializing in reptiles and amphibians, passionate about birds and mammals.
He has been studying the park for twelve years, following its natural dynamics closely. Vlad is the rediscoverer of the only species of boa snake in our country and co-author of the book "Birds of the Danube Plain and Delta".

Within the Association, he is involved in biodiversity monitoring, habitat management and guiding visitor groups.

MARIUS STOICAN

Marius is responsible for carrying out all the arrangements within the implemented projects, coordinating the tourism infrastructure projects in the park, with over 10 years of experience as a volunteer in tourism infrastructure projects in protected areas.

Radu Dragomirescu

Pasionat de natură, nu ezită niciodată din a se ”murdări” pentru a înțelege mai bine mediul înconjurător. Are o experiență de peste 7 ani în educare și promovare a naturii. În prezent este student al Facultății de Medicină Veterinară din București. A realizat un externship alături de National Geographic și continuă să aprofundeze cunoștiințe prin diferite programe de formare. Voluntar din 2017 în cadrul Asociației Parcul Natural Văcărești.
